It doesn’t seem fair. The garden is so beautiful, the roses, white wisteria and blue delphiniums are in their glory. I came out the other day and thought things don’t look right. It seems the deer came by and enjoyed the salad bar at Lore’s house. Hard to believe they would come up 18 stairs to the deck and eat all of their favorite plants.
As I sat at the dining room table, I saw a rose petal moving. There was no draft. Upon closer examination, I found a fat and happy caterpillar having his dinner of the rose. He must have been hiding inside the rose when I brought it into the house. What to do?
